KATHLEEN (KATIE) ROCK

Kathleen (Katie) Rock is an associate attorney at Voorn, Jaworski, & Preston, PLLC. She focuses her practice on estate planning, guardianship and other probate proceedings, as well as trust litigation. She has been appointed to act as a Guardian ad Litem in both probate and family law matters.
Ms. Rock received her Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law. During law school, she externed with the Honorable Judge Leida Gonzales-Santiago in the Cook County Circuit Court and was actively involved in the Kent Justice Foundation, which is a public interest student organization that works to raise financial support for a Fellowship Program for students who choose to serve not-for-profit legal organizations or in the public sector during law school. For undergrad, she attended Marquette University and graduated with Honors, majoring in Criminology & Law Studies and minoring in Political Science and Mathematics. During her time at Marquette University, she was inducted as a member of the following honor societies: Phi Beta Kappa, Alpha Sigma Nu (Jesuit Universities), and Pi Mu Epsilon (mathematics). She also interned for Senator Herb Kohl at his Milwaukee office, while working part-time at the university.
Ms. Rock is a current member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Will County Bar Association, Will County Women's Bar Association, and Estate Planning Council of Greater Joliet. She was the Co-Founder and former Co-Chair of the Young Lawyer’s Section of the Will County Bar Association. She has been a speaker at continuing legal education seminars hosted by the Will County Bar Association and IICLE. She is also an officer of her chapter of P.E.O., a philanthropic educational organization.
